The Helping Hand has come in handy while working at my desk but you can easily use it in the car or in the truck is you drive Semis. The Helping Hand in a plastic stand that has a sticky pad that you lay on the top that will hold your electronic devices in place. The Helping Hand comes in 2 colors white and black as you can see I received mine in black. The sticky pad comes in a plastic wrapper that you have to remove in order to apply to the Helping Hand stand. You will want to work out as many air bubbles as you possibly can. I tried an this is what mine ended up looking like in the end. Your sticky pad is reusable and can be washed to remove any dust, lint, hair or any other substances that would possibly come in contact with your sticky pad.
As you can see in the photos on the left my iPod and my old cell phone is held in place even upside down. It is stated in the information given with the Helping Hand states that it is best to remove your phone from any type of case in order for the stand to work properly. I personally have used my Helping Hand with my phone case on without any issues and it still sticks perfectly fine.
You can easily remove your device by rolling it off the pad. If the sticky pad gets dirty or you feel it is starting to lose it's stickiness you can simply rinse your sticky pad off an it will regain it's sticky property.
My Helping Hand I use at my desk while I am working on the computer so I am not losing my phone among all of my work. So from the office, car or Semi you can use the Helping Hand to hold your electronic devices to keep them at a hands reach.
