The Whirl-a-Style is a line of different types of hair accessories that you can pick up based on your hair length and thickness.
In my kit I got the Whirl-a-Style product catalog, instructional DVD, ponytail extender and 6" ponytail elastics.
The catalog shows all the products Whirl-a-Style has to offer as well as different hairstyles that can be accomplished with the Whirl-a-Style products. Their products are latex free and made in the USA. I can't find anywhere where it says what they are made of but if I had to guess I would say silicone.
The 6" ponytail elastics come in a set of 3 and come in different sizes. You would choose a size on your hair length or you can use several style within one hairstyle. In the photo you can see 2 of the ponytail elastics connected an the other not. You will want to connect them if you are going to use them as a simple ponytail holder. If you wish to use the elastics to assist in other styles like buns, up dos ect, you wouldn't connect the ends until you rolled the hair up to the desired location.
My hair is pin straight and I can never get it to do anything so I simply use these as regular ponytail holders. Like my silicone pony holders these don't slip, pull my hair nor do they stretch out. That is one luxury of the ponytail elastics, if you are like me you use a pony holder once an it is stretched out like crazy!! You will not find that with the ponytail elastics.
The next item I got was the ponytail extender which helps boost up those whimpy ponytails. You can also use the extender to do up dos for going out, prom night or for your little girls dance recitals ect....
You can find simple instructions on the packaging or in the instructional DVD. In the clips I saw on the DVD it shows some use of bobby pins when it came to putting the extender in place if it was being used for up dos. There are so many different ways these products can be used.
If you have a long haired dog, a horse or another animal with long hair you can use these products on them. I found that out by looking in the FAQs
